About the practice

Care begins with understanding.

Bea Kemp is a counsellor from the Western Cape, snuggled in the heart of Cape Town. She holds a BA degree in English and Advanced credits in psychology. She then studied via Synergetia to be a counsellor. She is also an accredited ASCHP member. Her background includes holistic wellness support for grief, addiction, and high-stress situations.

The aim is to make wellness support accessible and personal to each person. The whole dogma of this practice is to walk away feeling slightly better and to work towards whatever goals one may have. The core of The Listen Lounge is simple: to offer a place where people can speak openly, freely, and without judgment. Every session is tailored to your goals, your pace, and what support feels manageable for you right now.

What to expect after intake

Bea reviews your intake before your scheduled session so your first conversation can start with context. You can still update details during booking and in your session.

Do I need to finish the intake before booking?

It is recommended because it gives Bea a clearer starting point, but you can skip parts of it and still continue to the booking form.

Can I switch between video, voice, and text sessions later?

Yes. The booking form lets you choose what fits best now, and future sessions can be adjusted based on comfort and need.

Are payment options final?

Not yet. The current payment methods are placeholders and can be replaced with the final provider details once confirmed.
